Kunnskapsområde
I am a Senior researcher at Norwegian Institute for Nature Research. Main research interest has been research associated with wildlife conservation and human wildlife interactions (including studies of conflict and sustainable harvest). Ecology and behaviour of large carnivores and developing methods for monitoring wildlife. 

From 1995 I have been involved in planning and running several large-scale ecological research projects on large carnivores in Norway. Focus on lynx and wolverines in Norway using GPS-collars, and non-invasive techniques like camera traps. Presently running a large-scale camera trap-based project in Norway and reserch on lynx ecology.
