Education
  • 2020-present Ongoing PhD degree regarding visitor management in outdoor recreation areas at Norwegian University of Life Sciences
  • 2015-2017 Master’s degree in natural resource management with specialization in law, wildlife management and nature-based tourism at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences
  • 2012-2015 Bachelor’s degree in ecology and natural resource management at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences

Experience
Project experience with visitor management and various topics concerning visitor surveys in protected areas. Composing/analysis of questionnaires/surveys and use of internet-based survey tools. Experience with ecological impact studies and vulnerability assessments concerning human impact on biodiversity. Collaborating with different stakeholders in developing more sustainable management strategies in natural areas using co-creation. Co-hosted the 10th International Conference on Monitoring and Management of Visitors in Recreational and Protected Areas in 2021.
