Knowledge areas
Making decisions that benefit biodiversity is often made harder by disparate and "messy" evidence-bases. I use my skills in data analysis, formal evidence synthesis and decision modelling to bring different types of evidence (e.g. peer-reviewed publications, grey literature, expert opinion and simulations) together to answer questions in complex environmental decision contexts.
Key skills: Systematic evidence synthesis, data analysis, data visualisation, decision modelling, Bayesian networks, RShiny apps
Examples of R shiny apps: Mapping of evidence: https://estech.shinyapps.io/eviatlas/; Predicting the use of green space in England during the pandemic: https://github.com/befriendabacterium/parksinthepandemic
