My main research focus is on population dynamics, demography and life history strategies. In this framework, I focus on the links between food limitation, climatic variation and predation.
Vegetation ecology, ecophysiology, remote sensing, vegetation mapping and monitoring, reindeer pasture monitoring, forestry, GIS, environmental impact assessments (vegetation, flora, reindeer)
• Population dynamics, demography and life history strategies with special focus on the relationship between food access, climate and reproduction for reindeer. • Theoretical biology and ecological methodology with special focus on the use of experiments, official statistics, models and monitoring. • Multidisciplinary research with special focus on biology (behavioural ecology), social science (anthropology) and quantitative methods.
